WHO WE ARE
I AM
We are Institute for Applied Motions (IAM), founded by Timothy Algera and Govert Flint. IAM is a spin-off from design studio Enrichers. Enrichers develops design methodologies to create physical working concepts based on improving well-being and happiness. We created our first conceptual office the “Enriched Office” for Schiphol Real Estate in 2016. Together with University of Cambridge and KLM Health Services, we started a research to develop sensors which can measure stress real-time from seats. The purpose is to understand the impact of the work environment non-invasively. Today, we optimized this technology and established IAM. IAM is specialized in providing insight to daily stress patterns in a non-invasive way.

GOVERT FLINT
Founder
Govert worked on bionic chairs, using full body movements to control the computer and started working on smart furniture sensors when he did a project for Enrichers on improving wellbeing with office designs at Schiphol. He is the co-founder of IAM, likes to talk and dance in the living room and works on the product development
TIMOTHY ALGERA
Founder
Timothy has a background in industrial design and business information management. 4 years ago his IAM journey started with the development of the first smart furniture sensor. He is responsible for the technological operations at IAM.
DIANA NIKOLOVA
Intern
Diana joined our team following her MBA at The Hague Graduate School. Diana is an expert on maximizing the team's potential. With her MBA thesis research on "Enhancing the Well-Being at work with smart technologies”, she supports our strategic direction.
ALLUM ZENG
Intern
Enjie(Allum) joined our team following his MBA a Rotterdam School of Management. He's a well combined electronical, account management, product management experience in B2B consumer goods that brings different new perspectives to the team.
